Hey Guys, I'm Just wondering how many mp3s do u guys have? i like to think i have a lot for being a computer nerd, but what about u computer ner-enthusiasts?
i have almost 15,000

I would say endless.. I have a binder of 64 cds completely full of mp3s and on top of that i have a 120GB hard drive dedicated to just mp3s. It's all categorized in genre and artist and album. It's packed to the rim.. had to buy another to start filling it up, so yeah however many 130gb mp3s would equal out to = a Butload

only about 6-8000 I would say. I download, burn, backup and delete. I dont want to get caught with a bunch of crap by the feds, especially at work. I have close to 350 cds I burned, and a bunch of other stuff I never burned, or just backed up. So I would say somewhere around 8,000.

I've got about 3,000 and about 95% are high quality VBR rips of albums I own. I've only "augmented" my collection with a small amount of questionably obtained material. If I like what I've downloaded well enough I'll usually go out and buy it so I can rip it myself. Most of the MP3's I find online sound like crap. My collection spends most of its time in my car via the iPod controller I have hooked up to my Alpine head unit. Crappy MP3's sound really crappy in the car.
