Dallis-I actually can for most anti-depressants will do that! Plus there is plenty of other drugs not in that family that will make you a limp biscuit. There is actual verbal and physical therapy as well for that. But, the best cure for a boner that just won't quit, is lots of GOOD sex, so get busy! LOL, as if you haven't already. A boy after my own heart! Go, Dallis!

I have tried to keep my tongue bit, but, I can no longer keep it bit on this one. Sorry guys, but, I have no tolerance for ignorance relating to this issue. Okay, let me shed some much needed light. "Those dogs," are there for a reason, you are absolutely right on that matter. But, why are they there? They are there because of the irresponsible and ignorant people who have put them there. Let me remind you that we as humans are the ones who domesticated them in the first place. And therefore, it is our responsibility (all of us) to take care of all of them (good behaving, bad behaving, good health and bad health). Now, their health and behavior (good or bad) is also what we as a whole as human beings have done to them. Ignorant breeders (not all breeders are ignorant, just most) cause so many health and behavior problems with improperly breeding their dogs. Also, some people in general (not breeders, just so-called dog owners) are also the cause of poorly behaving and poor health dogs. You are of course going to have mentally defected dogs that behave badly, this is mostly due to breeding them improperly and other people raising them improperly or being cruel to them. It is very rarely due to the dog being born that way, it is almost always environmental and physical. The absolute bottom line is you will find that in most cases, "pound dogs," are better behaved and in better health than most dogs from most breeders and it is a real shame you will never get to know this. I see no validity in you being the so-called first owner so I will not address that. Also, seeing the parent(s) of the puppy you are about to buy from the breeder is only a remote chance of how your puppy will behave and how it's health might be. It is just a vague and general idea that may or may not resemble your puppy's health and temperment. This issue is one of my absolute passions and I speak that way about it. I also speak with authority for I have been involved with numerous animal rescue organizations from being on the board of directors, to actually rescuing and fostering them for over 14 years now. I have dealt with more breeders (good and bad) than I can count in all of my volunteer involement on this matter. I have fostered and owned many pure breds and, "pound dogs," due to all of my involvement with animal rescue. And, by far, pound dogs are better behaved and healthier than dogs that are from breeders. Again, it is a real shame that you will never know this. I despise all breeders for most are breeding them improperly which ends up hurting/killing countless animals and are only in it for the money. This disgusts me to no end. Why on earth would anyone buy from a breeder when there is a massive amount of rescued dogs that are healthy and good natured waiting for homes at pounds and rescue organizations? Why would you be a part of the problem rather than a solution to the problem? If you want a specific breed, get on waiting lists for a rescued one of the breed. I assure you, there is plenty of rescue organizations that will eventually turn up your specific breed. You might have a wait, so what, you will get what you want and help our problem and not contribute to our problem. Peace.
OK...so then you admit that the dogs behave badly b/c of the previous owner. Why should I adopt a dog with bad problems b/c of someone elses **** up? Why should my house be destroyed b/c someone else didnt know what the hell they were doing? Like I said those dogs are there for a reason. Someone else had them realized these dogs couldnt be trained or had some sort of mental defect and got rid of them. The pound is like a mental institute for dogs. Also I totally disagree about how you think meeting the parents isnt a good idea. I have a dalmatian that I got from a farm. When I went there there were 8 adults that were all very well behaved, intelligent, and were in good health. Their temperment was very layed back and they were extremely friendly, and guess what my dog turned out the exact same way. I stand by my reasons and no matter what you tell me I will never get a dog from a pound. I have rescued dogs as well I received a german shepard pup that scrubbed out of a seeing eye institute. The only thing wrong with it is that it was extremely lazy and couldnt handle the work load of someone who needed to be taken care of 24/7. That dog was amazing. Very laid back and extremely well trained.
