4TH OF JULY: whats everyone doing

ive been trying to find some information on whats going on in the valley
(besides the obvious like Tempe Town Lake and the Fabulous Phoenix 4th)

does anyone know of places to go or where i can find different events??

what do they do at tempe townlake and what goes on for the fabulous phoenix 4th? do they have a big show downtown or something? This is my first 4th of July in PHX, so i have no clue where to go. Was thinking of going to Bartlett on saturday or doing salt river on saturday.

But what are good events to go and watch fireworks? I do live by Queen Creek, like a few miles away, where abouts will that be taking place?

It is not so much a what as a who...I see my fiance only on the weekends and she is taking a 4 day weekend and comming up here and I have a 3.5 day weekend. and my roommates will be out of town all weekend

..So, if the room is a rockin' then don't come a knockin'...Although we might break to go have a few beers at a couple of BBQs that I have been invited to attend

I am working on the 4th...

but if u want to know, imma be sitting on top of the BMW building off of Scottsdale Rd. and the 101 watching the fireworks at the Scottsdale Princess....
