Wasn't it easy bypassing the clutch. You just gotta be careful and add a failsafe to ensure it doesn't remote start unless your handbrake is up since you have a 5-speed. Not too difficult either, I did it on mine, you should also ask SkipBarber for detailed wire diagrams of this if you need it. His failsafe wire diagrams helped me out quite a bit, I'd send you mine but I can't find them anymore. If you can't do the failsafe, just set you voltages to the absolute lowest for a start, turn your wheels toward a curb and pull the handbrake all the way up. When I do this and leave it in 1st it only jumped forward rather weakly around 4 inches.

Yeah it works either way: If someone pushes on the footbrake or it the e-brake is released it will turn off. Not sure if it will start without the e-brake on. Might wanna check that. I have so much **** in mine now: Python 1500 ESP, 530T Window module, Remote start, IR sensor, DEI pager w/3 zones, and I just got an air horn for the alarm. I think I'll hook up the 4th channel to the neon in the trunk when it comes.

Yup, from how you have it hooked currently, it will start regardless if the handbrake is up or not, you need to attach one of the sensor wires off the alarm to your handbrakes ground wire.

You mean which transponder unit I used? I have an 03.

Mine was a actually a GM transponder. Doesn't matter but you have to hide your valet ket somewhere in the car if you have on 03. I just filed the key off and put the transponder in the box.

'I have a remote start in my car too. Great for the summer, awesome in the winter. My installer used the PKH3 bypass. Its the one that you dont lose a key with. Works flawlessly. 2 thumbs up.

Yup, I used that as well. Sucks to have to give up a key, even if it is the valet key.

<-- Thinking about aquiring this PKH3 unit

JT, My buddy works at Desert Rat in Mesa. To be honest I bought a Red Top months ago for about $80 I think and never used it. When I wanted to install it I didn't want to make a custom bracket so I called him up and ordered a Group 51 (not 51R). He swapped it straight out for me.
