Rep Power: 0 I dont like or go to UofA but I would recommend taking your car...Tucson is nothing compared to LA...the traffic isnt bad and parking on campus wont be a problem

Rep Power: 0 My experiences with Tucson/UofA haven't been all that great. Yes the school is good if you are going for medical or science, but on the other hand the city is fairly bad. It is all run down college student houses and mexican immigrant houses. Oh ya forgot about all the hippies that live there.

Rep Power: 0 The area around UofA is pretty good for bars and stuff. Not much clubs around, but tons of bars.(4th Ave.) There are quite a few(ALOT) of mexican immigrants(mostly illegal probably) here, but that is mostly the south side of Tucson. Are you going to be living in the dorms or apartments nearby? If you live close to the UofA then a bike will be fine, but I wouldn't be able to get along without a car. I know alot of people that go to there, and most people like it, only a couple friends don't like it. Let me know if you want to know anything else about it here, or need info on something.

Rep Power: 268 well, from every thing i know of tucson, car theft/break ins is fairly high.. (read it on crime stats) dont know about U of A but the city isnt in the best shape, but ive seen much worse.. typical college/imagrant town.. i was out at Old Tuscon Studios in Saguaro (sp) Park on sat for a Premire and that was a verry scenic area... (LOTS of cops) did i mention i thought i was in mexico???? not much english spoekn that i heard mostly spanish... you shouldnt have any problems... i do know that an old associate of mine paid $60.00 for 1 - E (Hint hint)... f'in crazy if ya ask me...
