Hey guys I have a 2004 Ex Coupe and needing to get the speakers replaced in there ASAP. I have a nice big 4 channel PPI amp that is not being used because it has no speakers to push. Anyways, looking at two sets of speakers and wondering if any of you have these speakers or know the mounting depths for them and if they will fit into my car.

I have my mind pretty much set on those. If anyone knows could you please post an answer! I think these will sound great. Any feedback on those?

Eric, from what I've read the Focals are excellent speakers but would probably serve better in kicks than doors. The Focal cone is intended to be much more directional that a traditional cone and has a much more limited "on-axis" range. With the cancellation that your door setup will incur, I'd say run the Focals in kicks and if you do decide to run anything in the doors, make it a more omni-direction midbass frequency. I'm putting Diamond HEX 6.5's in kicks that are vented into the "rail" running down the side of the car. I'm not running anything in the doors. The kicks will have a set of silk tweets, the stock tweet pods are going away and I'm putting an Aluminum set in the a-pillars firing at the glass. I have a JL 300/2 for the interior and a 500/1 for the trunk. My Diamond M5's will sit in the rear deck. I also have a PPI PCX-1500 for sale too. Whew.. just my .02
