Tires and heat

Time for new tires for my car. Problem is, I'm cheap and don't wanna spend the money, so I'm considering putting the old steelies back on for a while. They've been sitting in my garage for 2 years, through the 120+ degrees it stays in there in the summers. Anyone think this would be a safety issue for these tires?

Thanks, -J
