New to Gainesville
I've been living here for about 4 months now. I was wondering who here's from the general area.
I moved here finding a well paying job in sign fabrication(I was a graphic designer prior) and had a 96 dx, which about 2 weeks ago decided to blow up. I got behind a truck and watched some scrap metal fall off of it. I swerved, thought I was happy that I didn't loose a tire on I-75, then found 45 or so miles later as I was approaching I-10 that My oil pan had been punctured(nearly ripped off), and oil-less my engine decided to shoot flames and pistons.
Last week I bought a fairly new 03 civic coupe LX (Only 30k miles and for only 12K) and I've been aching to break it in. It's unfortunately an automatic(It was a good deal I couldn't pass up) so I don't see myself racing it, But I'd like to trick it out and get involved in the local scene.
