Anyone in the Orlando/Kissimmee area good at Blacking out Headlights?
Anyone in the Orlando/Kissimmee area good at Blacking out Headlights?
Hey guys just wondering if anyone here knows someone or is capable of blacking out a couple sets of headlights 1 for an 02 Civic and the other for an 02 Celica. I know there are DIY guides but we would rather have someone who has some experience with it to do it instead.
Thanks
Thanks

I did it to my 2001 civic when I had it. Don't you remember it? I had a white one and painted the headlights to match. It is sooooooo easy to do. Just stick them in the oven for like a couple of minutes on 250 degrees. Take them out and pry them open. I forgot the name of the tape but its a certain type of tape that doesn't leave sticky stuff behind. Just cover what you don't want painted with tape and newspaper. Primer the lights real good, let it dry a couple of hours, then paint away. Use two coats of paint and it should be all good.
Make sure you give a few hours or preferrebly over night to dry. Then stick them in the oven for a couple of minutes again at 250 to make the seal real soft. Clamp the lights together and let it dry for a couple of hours with clamps holding the light together. If you made sure it sealed correctly, you shouldn't have any fogging at all.
P.S. I won't do it because I get nervous working on other people's cars thinking I will mess up. So I don't want to risk it.
