i am extremely interested in knowing why you believe your statement is correct. this turbo has a t3 flange so it will esentially bolt up to any manifold widely available for the 7th generation civic. the turbine side has an a/r of .48 so it will spool up at a lower rpm which is also good seeing as how the d17 isnt known to spin 9,000 rpm. the .42 compressor is capable of flowing more then enough cfm for any stock internal d17. and to top it all off it has been rebuilt. the fact that it has been rebuilt cancels any argument that you can make on it burning oil or having excessive shaft play due to it being off of an "old car".now id like to hear your take on why "you cannot pull turbos off any old car and stick them on any... uhhh new car.".
good day.

Nah, before you get your nickers in a tangle, calm down. I was merely stating that you cannot pull turbos off of ANY old car and stick them on ANY new car. I think it would be great to see some 7th gens with a 300zx turbo on them, but then again I bet I wont. Many people here don't really know what it takes for the turbo system to work, hence you don't see MANY custom kits being built around here. Now, the simple fact that the turbo was rebuilt may be satisufying to some, but that dosen't exlucde it from shaft play and oil runs. There's no real way to tell us that it was rebuilt properly and had the diagnostics run on it, unless it was put back on the 300 after it was rebuilt, which you should mention, because then essentially it was rebuilt and used again. If it was put back on the car after it was rebuilt, then how heavily was it used? You should mention in more detail the actual usage of the turbo. I will congratulate you on the specs though because half the people say "I found this hairdryer on the sidewalk and it makes so and so boost, buy it....."
