Yeah thanks for the financial advice...but until you're in my shoes...u have no idea. As much as i'd love to take a road trip...i can't. Hopefully things will get better during the next few months. Maybe i can find a new job or SOMETHING.

I may be a bit young but road trip was exactly what I was thinking.
I live in central florida "Tampa area" and I wouldn't mind driving for a State meet.
I guess this really determines who is dedicated or not.
Up north and in Cali people drive over 6 hours to head to these meets. It's crazy the amount of people that show up. We need to show them what Florida really has. I know we can top them but not if you people are to lazy to drive a little.
All in all no matter where this meet is held there will most likely be a big turnout.
I understand that some people do have either money issues or personal issues that may prevent them from coming, but it's nice to know that they would come if they could. It's those people that read this post and then laugh about it that honestly **** me off. I'm not hating on anyone I just think you need to live a little.

I agree.... i say they have a north FL meet and also have a South FL meet... and whoever has more people that turnout... that's where it'll be.... and if neither have more than 4 or 5 cars there is no way i'm going either place at least here in TAMPA or ORLANDO we have like 17 vics....
hey neo why dont you and me organize a north florida meet?? i'll be back in ft walton from aug 12 to 20th hangin out at New Vision performance off of Beal pkwy ... if we can get something together around the 17 -20th that'd be cool

Rep Power: 0 Anyone wanna meet up on the 31 or so...chill at the beach or somethin, shoot the ish and figure out about the hondaland meet, ridin together, meeting the day before etc...whateva ya'll wanna do...i'll pitch with a meet as well, do whatever it takes to get the lazy FL ppl off dey as s and realize cali and canada have what we want and that it actually takes work...the meets done come to you...

Rep Power: 0 actually, i just realized, i'll probably head to miami early september, going to see a couple friends, and show them my car. so if it is indeed in miami, i am up for it, weekend...
true ... and just sitting around w/ a hooked up 7th gen ....others come to you just to ask where you got everything ... so i'll drive around mall, niceville, destin and just look for people w/ 7th gens and see if they're interested in comin out ... we can have another meeting at the swamp or something maybe something in crestview just because it'll be closer to the interstate, plus im on the revtech, pei, vitalsigns, la cosa nostra, RR, and all those other clubs message boards im sure they can get the word out
plus there is that show at the ftwalton beach fairgrounds on the 16th ... we can just get all the north people to meet there if worse comes to worse ... i think my car can at least take 3rd
yeah thats them ..or is it okaloosa fairgrounds .. but yeah its on the left of beal when heading towards eglin .. and the other show is on the 16th so we could probably get it together

Rep Power: 0 hey i already talked to a guy on base he said he would try to make it, plus i have a couple people in my neighborhood plus i can probaly find alot more on base, he was askin what time and i didnt know what to tell him. but im goin to make a seperate topic for our meet so the southern folk can have there thread back.

my bois Chris n Fabrizzio went down to miami for the hell of it that weekend and hit up the *cough cough meet cough*. they said NOTTA 1 showed up. Fab.'s ride is an '03 EP3 (Si) silver w/ CF hood, neuspeed 2in. drop, and HKS cat-back. WHAT THE HELL happened ppl?? thats not the best way to get us ORL n north ppl to wanna drive down there for a FULL ON FL meet. im still favoring a location somewhere Central for the statewide meet w/e its date is determined. we'll see how good cntrl is by the turnout at Hondaland SeptemberFest on the 13th. peace southies and u need to be a lil more dedicated to ur brethern to be respected and "feared" as a region! lol...j/k

Also i guess its kinda hard to pick out a 7th gen member when the outside of the car is completely stock, thus your friends didnt see me... Still even if we did meet, a meeting of only two cars is rather dismal. I will be adding 7th gen banners on my car so i can advertise the site, and make it easier to do meets down here in MIA if there is ever another one. Im also plannin to go around my school and put flyers for the site on all the 7th gen's i can find. Hopefully it will bring in more peeps from MIA.
