don't expect it to get any faster. I am sure you have read on this site that our cars are not designed to be fast

it might cut a few 100ths maybe even a 10th off your time, but dont expect it to be carb legal

you might as well run open

Are your 17's heavier than stock wheels, that could also be a problem, and you could also jump down to 14;s.

konig's in general aren't really all that heavy... racing in 17's suck tho.. more rotational mass = slow.... slap your stock wheels on with some nice tires... light em up hot and launch at like 2900 rpm.... you'll be hitting low 16's....

Take those !7"s off and slap back on the stock rims. Drop the front tire pressure to 23 lbs psi and pump up the rear to 45 lbs psi.

Drop the clutch at 1800 rpms at that last yellow light.

Your 60 foot times shoud be in the 2.3's

My car mone stock was hitting 17.2's
after intake headers exhaust and JET ECU, I was hitting 15.7's

oh yeah, when I race with my 17"s I have to launch at about 1800 rpms
to prevent wheel hop....sixty foot times suck...they are about 2.6

burn up the tires... that'll prevent wheel hop cause the rubber will be nice and hot and grippin to the ground.... my friend launches at 5k without wheel hop in his prelude and all he does is light his tires up...

I don't want to get my tires wet and have water in the grooves....my pirelli tires
are real sticky ....they have a tread wear of 150....so I do get great grip.
