Mitsubishi Conquest

Raced a turbo mitsubish conquest last night. Of course I can't claim I won, but he didn't really pull me until 3rd gear, so I feel really good about it. He knew I was slow before he asked me to race him, so I really dont know why he wanted to go, but whatever works. It was a good time. On a side note my buddy with a vr4 beat him by about 12 car lengths. I would hate to race him because I've ridden in the vr4 and that is one fast import.

yeah no kidding, 3700 pounds, i thought that was gonna make it slow, but i was greatly mistaken. 320hp stock, still I didn't think it was that big of a deal. But..its fast, it runs a 13.5 stock and does 0-60 in 5 flat. With mods it can make an assload of horsepower.

Welcome,

Someone said they don't grow rice in the USA. Had to refute that.

Re: Mitsubishi Conquest

Actually, its Dodge Conquest and Mistu Starion...

Those cars were pretty cool back in the day, and can be made pretty fast. Stock, they were not super impressive (like 189hp or something). I think it ran like low 15s in the quarter.

But also for its day, it was very respectable. I mean heck the Vettes of that day were runniing mid 14s... One sad thing about the Starions is that most of them are now beat to hell and don't even run as well as they should... If you see one in good shape, its rare...

No one ever called a VR4 rice. And that link was not referring to anything in particular. You are seeing magical words that aren't there.
