2K1 Civic EX Auto vs. 96 Integra GS 4-DR
wsup everyone...
my friend came from Modesto Cali to visit me here in Sac and decided to race on the freeway (yeah we're fools but there were hardly anyone on the freeway).
My friend has a 1996 Integra GS 5sp. 4-DR with CAI
I own the 2K1 Civic EX Auto I/H/E Cam Gear, Pulleys, IK20, so on....
We were both set up side by side at a red light headed toward the freeway...
Light turns green and I mash on it...I mean I just floor the damn pedal! It was close in first gear, I had him by a 1/4 car length....and when I hit 2nd I started to pull on him a little more...maybe like a 1/2 car length( I had to keep my eyes on the road, so I was lookin front and back front and back)....3rd gear hits and i'm 1 and 1/4 car length ahead.....to make a long story short I'm finally goin like 105mph when all of the sudden I see him pullin' on me....(if only our cars were DOHC too!!) he didn't get to far up to me, maybe just about to my back fender....
THEN BOOOOM!
He has to hit the brakes kuz of traffic ahead....(kinda worried u guys didn't I??) 
But yeah, I took him in the first 3 gears of my Automatic...it was a clean victory...I didn't downshift to D3 or anything...just mashed! *note - I didn't have the spare in the trunk either...I called him up later in the day to brag!
