La la la, so I was stopped at a red light on my way to work, and a cop gets behind me. "So what" I think, until he turns his lights on. "Oh shiet" I think and wait till the light turns green to pull into the shell station. "Oh shiet again" I think as the cop follows me in. It suddenly starts raining really hard, just as the cop gets out of his car and comes to mine. I open the door and the cop asks about my tint.
PO:"Do you know how dark your tint is ma'am?"

me:"Uh.. . 20% I think, the sticker is right here sir *points to sticker in door jamb*"

PO:"Roll down your window please"

me:*hit button to roll down window about halfway*

PO:"Ma'am, you're windows are 18% and state law is 35% "*walks off to write citation*

me: *shuts door and rolls up window and cusses profusely*

So i got a citation, but that was 200 miles away from where my house is, I was taking finals at college so I had to be there. The cops where I live don't care about my mirror tint or anyone else's so the cops here are gonna tell the cops down there that my tint is fixed and I'm good to go.

P.S. Tint is not secondary.

ya in some states tint is secondary offense, but the laws are laws, so hope everything works out. I dont know if having an officer from your town call will work or not, sometimes you have to go to court and show a pic of have an officer look at your car.

Nah, I already called and got all that stuff taken care of. All they need is a note from the cops where I live and I'm free to go!
