screwed out of a ricer kill... damn it!
T3h -4AN purg3 is th3 winnAr yet again.
I really need to stop doing that before I lay down the smackith... but I digress.
Anyway, I’m going out to my friend’s house so we can hit up the local bar. Driving down the freeway @ my normal cursing speed (~80MPH, I find this doesn’t attract cops, yet gets me where I need to go in good time, plus my car seems to really like that speed sitting in 5th.. a sort of "sweet spot" I guess) I see EK civic headlights w/ fogs speeding up behind me. The dude sits on my *** for a few seconds, cuts over and nails it. He wails by in full fart wail with his uber powerful D16 w/ ubiquitous rice pipe exhaust. Id Imagine he hit 90-100MPH before he slowed down to pace me.
Knowing that I could probably kick his *** without the nitrous and my -2* of retard, I didn’t bother to play. But alas, he does the same thing 2 more times, and a man can only take so much. On top of that I had opened my bottle and had it good and heated to ~1100PSI in the hopes that someone would run. Even though this was a chump race, I was almost at my destination and if I didn’t use it, I would have wasted what was in the line, having to close the bottle and purge what was already in there, so I figure "why not?" (gogo gadget run on sentence!).
I look over and it’s a 20 something white guy, giving me the good ol "mad dog" stare. I shook my head and flipped open the uber cool change drawer switch panel compartment.
Now at this pressure and with a -4AN line the purge was enough to clear my roof and progress probably 5-6 feet before being blown backwards (quite impressive I must say).
EX dude does a double take, so I purge 1 more time just for god measure.
He immediately slows down to roughly 70MPH and holds steady.
At this point I let out an audible "FUCK!" because I knew what happened. He guy grew a nice hairy ****** really quick.
I slow back down to pace him and he SLOWS DOWN EVEN MORE! Now were doing ~65MPH with me in the fast lane and cars behind are getting rather pissed. I sit there for what seems to be an eternity TRYING to at LEAST get the guy to look over one more time so I could give him the good ol thumbs down, but alas, hes mad ******* was concentrated on the road ahead, never deviating one millimeter to his left.
Sigh.
At this point my exit was about 1 mile ahead so I downshift into 4th and proceed to speed back up to 80, where I move over 4 lanes and take my leave.
Moral of the story?
I have no ****ing clue, but it sure as hell pissed me the **** off. Not only did I have to close the bottle and purge the rest, but I also wasted a few quality ounces making Mr. Puss n' Boots pee his depends.
I really REALLY hate it when that happens. I guess I learned my lesson.... then again I said that the LAST TWO TIMES this frigging happened. I swear that damn purge gets me OUT of more races then IN (no SERIOUSLY, I’ve yet to have ONE person race me after I’ve purged on him since I installed the damn extra solenoid.
