I'm asian & sometimes dont want to believe stereotype of us as bad drivers but DAMN

Okay a few months ago, I was driving with my girl in Canada b.c. we were there for vacation visitin her parents, and well I had a IS300 and I was stopped completely at a stop light for a good 3-5 seconds and about 2 seconds after, SKURRRR BOOMMMMM, some asian guy in a RENTED COROLLA rear ends me! Was bad enough he hit my car, secondly he was in rental car, thridly he wasnt even citizen from US or CANDADA, he was from freakin Hong Kong or Tawain I think it was....Well we had that resolved because he was a rich bastard and payed cash for everything the next day....Well today I was on the 405 going north, back to my apartment....and well I was stopped completely as usual on the freakin 405 around 10 a.m. b.c. of freakin traffic, and well guess wat..I was drivin my girls civic and SKUURR BOOMMMM some asian guy hits me with his 95 Camry, he totaled my back, but worst than that mine didnt seem that bad when I saw his front end...damn it was bad! Well, I had a ? for all you guys...since I was drivin my girls car, and she has full covereage but only for herself, she didnt add another driver on her car, will her insurance/other guys pay for damages on our part since it was his fault....I was just unsure of how it works...I mean I understand she is only covered for herself, but they still have to pay right, no matter who was drivin her car because it wasnt our fault, correct me if Im wrong...thanks guy. Oh one more thing I am insured but, my insurance should have nothing to do with it, b.c. it was her car, just wonderin if her insurance group will pay/or at least his will.

my friend had a werid accident wit his 91 prelude 6 weeks ago....it was at nite and the roads were wet/icy and he was behind a bus...all of a sudden....the bus in front of him swerves left to avoid sumthin....since the bus really blocked my friend's view of wat was in front of him.......he didnt really have enough time to avoid wat was in front but he tried swerving and his lude slipped and slid into this other sentra that was flipped......so he slid in and hit his front passenger side....the thing is that he didnt have to pay a dime as far as i hear because it was the guys in the sentra's fault for blocking the road and making it a hazard i guess.....well....my friend felt bad since the guy in da sentra was all hurt and then he had to pay for the damages on my friends car.....thats wat i kno so far

Did the police come? If the police did not come and you guys traded info then she have a chance to get the car fix.Don't tell the insurance that someone beside your girl was driveing the car. If the insurance people find out that you was driveing the car they will not fix it. It only works when a police report is not made. If a police report is file then you are hit man. Sorry about what happen man. I had the same thing happen to me.

i think females in general with SUV's and cellphones are the worst drivers. IMO race is not a factor

actually, males with cellphones in SUV's are bad too, so apparently gender isn't as much a factor, either.

It does not matter who is driving the car when its not your fault. If it was your fault then her insurance would not cover any damage you caused because you are not covered. But since it was his fault, her insurance should not have anything to do with this claim. His insurance should pay for everything. The only way it would not cover it, would be if you did not have a drivers license.

If the other guy doesn't pay, often your own car insurance covers you no matter who's car you are driving.
