OK, sort of a 7th gen story.
My husband and I were in his car, 2000 Accord EXV6 Tuesday night. He has about $12K invested so enough said on what it looks like, anyways a cop pulled us over and said it was b/c of window tint. OK a couple min later he comes back and asks us to get out of the car b/c he wants to search it. I was sooooo pissed and he didn't even tell us why until he was done. He claimed he thought he smelled "marajuana or patchouli".
That is a bunch of crap. Not only did we know he was playing w/ us b/c of the car, I should have told him we don't drive around in cars smoking weed we would do that in the privacy of our own home
I am tired of the cops harassing us! There are stories that everyone seems to have of it happening and if we were in a '69 Nova big block we would have been pulled over so the cop could say he liked the car.
Anyone else getting tired of this?

I was pulled over for racing a Mustang 5.0 in my Trans Am.......oh wait.....I really was racing. But I got out of it.

You just gotta know how to talk with the cops.

so.. how do you 'talk with the cops' to talk yourself out of something potentially serious enough to have your licence taken away???

i put my kit on and everyday for 3 days i was pulled over. got 2 ticket and a warning out of it. the first night i went to get smokes 2 blocks away and didn't put on my front plate and got a no plate ticket. the cop did a u turn to get me. pressed much. I went to court on the ticket and got off becuase the cop started of by saying he noticed my car first and i preceeded to inform the judge and the DA that my car is 100% legal and he was wrong. he said i was doing 50 in a 35 when it was actually 40. blah blah blah. the last one was for rolling a stop sign.I preceeded to tell him i am sick of this it is now the 3rd day in a row i was harrassed and my car is like this for my biz (i.e. the company decals all over it) and i never role stop signs becuase i know what kind of car i am driving. he gave me a warning.

I hate cops!!!!!!!!!!!! detectives are cool though. beat cops suck. they are mostly kids that got beat up in high school and now have ultimate power and take it out on us.

Not all cops are bad, my uncle was a under cover NARC top in DC for years very cool, probably did more drugs than all combined on this forum, and my sis is dating a Baltimore cop that is cool as hell. But they never got beat up in high school. Enough ranting good night!!!!

Yeah the PoPo def does get a little annoying when it comes to getting pulled over, especially with the exhaust. If they wanna be ballbusters they will just say its too loud, and give you a ticket. Like they have a decibel meter in their car........
