you know i am really dumb founded! earlier today i got in a little race with a sunfire and it was kicking my ***. then i leave for class this afternoon, and well i happen to have an eclipse come up in my rear view. i assumed the driver was into car like myself and going fast. i downshift! and take off as does he. i stay in front! then we get off the exit and enter a smaller highway with almost no traffic and never cops. we were at a dead stop getting ready to turn on to the highway. i go...... and he sees it's clear and he goes..... by this time i am about 2 car lengths in front. and as he catches up about 3rd gear-ish....... all i hear go by me is PSSHHHHH! i was just like i knew it!..... eventually i pass him again once we get in traffic because he didn't like weaving in and out of cars.... but once i did he did as well and he's behind me again..... it turns out the kid was going to class as well at the same college.... when we got off the exit ramp and go to the first light he pulled up beside me......and well with a sheriff sitting across the intersection i knew we were not about to race.... so we started to chat and first thing he asked me was "is that an SI " so i told him i'm only a DX driver......blah blah blah and he was just like "man for not being turbo'd your car hauls ***..... so i guess that kinda redeems me from the SUNFIRE.

whats with the, iam only a "DX driver"!!??....if you can live w/out power windows, roof, abs, etc....DX civs have a decent weight advantage over the EX which leaves a race stock to stock up to the driver......
