I was chilling at a red light watching the traffic go by and this saturn flys by me on my right side, running a red light and hits this crx right in front of me...

2 morals of this story...

pay attention and wonder why people are stopped at a intersection. and don't run red lights...

Stupid *** people running red lights as if they are of some importance. This brings to mind something that happened 2 weeks ago. I was waiting at the red light behind another car. The light turns green and the car in front of me goes. We are both making left hand turns (facing east & going north bound). As the car in front of me completes it's turn and i am about 1.5 car lengths back some idiot goes flying by (They we're heading north) and almost hits the driver's side rear/tail of my car. I almost stopped in the middle of the intersection (no car's behind me) to follow the stupid ***. Instead I went home... I know i wouldn't have accomplished anything by doing so, so i decided to head home.

This reminds me of a time I was so damn lucky another car was right next to me when the light turned green. Some idiot ran the red and hit that car and not my brand new Civic. I felt bad for the guy that got hit.

I was rearended at a stop light when i owned my jeep. I got a boo boo her car gat trashed. I miss thet wrangler sometimes. I feel that is just as bad as running a red light. It is derived from the same motive as NOT PAYING ATTENTION!!!!

I hate red light runners too... I've got a better/worse story depending. Anyways, I was stopped at one of those right turn red lights with 2 lanes. Ok, I'm in the right most lane of the two right turning lanes and when the light turns green and I turn right staying in my own lane (duh) then bam!! The idiot in the 1st right turn lane to my left hits me in the driver's side door. He hit hard enough that my side mirror fell off and the whole front half of the door was dented (enough that the safety bar in the door got bent, although that's what saved me, otherwise I woulda been in a world of hurt since I don't have side-airbags). He claims he didn't see my car and I'm like what the f%$k are you blind?! Its friggin 3pm in the afternoon, not a cloud in the sky, my Civic is Silver, and we were right next to each other at the stop light before turning, you're suppose to stay in your lane and cut over during turns, plus he originally was behind me but went in the lane to the left of me just before the light turned green (so he had to have seen me). He even had the audacity to tell me that I should be careful since this road is the most dangerous in the area. I'm like SO, its no excuse to be an idiot and hit me.

Moral of the story... there are always idiots out there on the road, so no matter how careful you are its just a matter of time before you encounter one. Just pray the encounter isn't for the worse. Luckily for me he had full coverage and I was able to get his insurance company to pay for my repairs and then some.

Need to watch put for those people who speed up at a yellow light (knowing they have someone behind them) and then at the last second hit the breaks and the person behind them hits them in the rear. I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE!!!!! I have seen it happen thow. Because in most states if you rear end someone it is going to be your fault. People do this to get insurance money that or hope there car gets totalled nad they can get a new one. Now nobody get any ideas
