Had my FIRST ENCOUNTER this morning...

And let me tell ya, it was extremely disappointing. So I'm on my way to work, and I come up to the light to get on the main road. Well what do you know, another NBP Civic is stopped right in front of me. It's lowered about 2 inches, with some nice "Performance Rims", dark tint, some type of "Performance Exhaust", and Donut style Altezza lights. Well, I had never seen this guy around, so when the light turns green, we turn left onto the main road, I get into the middle lane to try and pass him and maybe let him see the 7thgencivic.com sticker. Well what do you know, the little bastard guns it as well. The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure he also had an LX Auto cause as we were picking up speed, we were dead even, like we weren't even moving. Now I'm almost positive that he had more stuff done to his car, but I hope not, cause my little stock car kept up with him the entire way. Now it was 6:45 a.m. so there was no traffic and I let off nearing 55mph. I just thought it was funny that this guy had done all this stuff to his car, yet his LX Auto couldn't pull on me. But then again, we DID both have auto's.

the better drive would win (stick)
the heavier stomper would win (auto)

Although I dont want to start a "Manual vs. Auto" thread, but around me, the stick drivers usually step on it more than auto drivers.

Sounds like a typical ricer with the ricer mods. Probably had nothing but a fart can.

Tee hee, I guess you could call it racing. Damn kid didn't want me to pass him I guess, plus, there was no one in front of us and I slowed down before we hit traffic. And I'm almost positive it was an Automatic, cause if it was a stick...

Anyone ever raced the same civic...like EX vs EX (Si vs Si) or LX vs LX...and which would win the stick car or auto? or would it depend on the drive

Stick will always win. The only thing that would prevent it from winning is the driver.

Oh snap, ran into this cat again this morning. And you know what, It was a freakin EX. Yup, it wasn't an LX like I thought. He had his sunroof open this morning and I was like WTF. So this EX with the "Performance" Rims and Exhaust, which was dropped to the floor couldn't even take my bone Stocker. WOW. It just blows the mind...
