Driving SLOW is just as dangerous as driving FAST

I was driving down a rural 2-lane highway, driving around a curve about 60 in a 45... not really a big deal. I can't see too far into the turn because of all the trees up close to the road... then I catch a glimpse of another car through the trees, so I let off the gas, but not expecting to use to breaks. I finally see this car, its going slow, but thinking it must've just pulled onto the road and will be accelerating sometime soon I didn't hit the breaks, after another half a second I realized it wasn't going any faster, so I got on the breaks hard... so I'm behind this car going about 25-30mph, still several car lengths behind them... I notice driver is an elderly woman... Then it gets even better, she stops, puts it in reverse, then pulls into a driveway she had passed by maybe half a car length. Luckily there wasn't any other traffic........
To the old lady: If you think driving that slow makes you a safer driver, think again.... if senses are so dulled that you have to drive 20mph under the speed limit and can't see you're own driveway until you're already passing it, you really shouldn't be driving. If you feel so insecure on the road that you have to drive that slow, then what that says is you don't know how to control you're car... that is generally not a good thing. Driving 20mph under the speed limit will not help you avoid accidents. Sell your car and use the money for taxi rides. If you still must drive for some reason, use your hazard light, and put a big orange strobe light on your roof and tape several of those orange triangles on all sides of you're car.
I am just a little tiny bit irritated.

That's happened to me several times too. One time I was late for work and being really dumb, so I passed them on a turn. Usually I just make my car hump the back of theirs for a second and then back off. Sometimes they get the point.

Yeah, especially when they hog the passing lane. It's usually a min-van or SUV too. Once they get out there they don't know how to get back over to the right.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Saftey did a study and found that slow drivers cause more accidents than fast drivers.

Ultra-slow drivers really annoy me.

yeah keyword TOO Slow. That irritates me to no end. I hate when people do that especially when they pull out of somewhere in front of you when you traveling at a good rate of speed.
