Civic EX vs Accord

I was racing my friend who had a Accord LX who has a exhuast, intake, headers, v-afc,and also it had nothing but bucket racing seats. I had exhaust and intake and also a full interior. So we got to the light and we were both waiting for our light to turn green. As soon as it turned green we both took off and I had him in first gear by half a car and then second gear we were about nose to nos and then third I had him about a half a car again and then we hit the stop light. Not a bad run for the vic. I don't know tell me what you guys think?

back then i was street racing a 98 accord sedan mt w/ intake & mufflers pulled next to me. i had him like half a car away in 1st and 2nd but he caught up with me on 3rd. i hate the ratio in 3rd, makes the rev go down abt 1000rpms. but we finished nose to nose. my RS was still stock
