Last night me and Johnny S2k went "beater cruising". Basically we took turns cruising the strip here with our winter cars. Mine being a 2002 civic, his being an 89 Audi. Basically driving up and down messing with people, and trying to race everyone that would. Johnny even revved at some old man in an oldsmobile. Unfortunately he declined, as I'm sure he was intimidated by the sound of Johnny's finely tuned Audi, and the screeching noise his turbo made due to shot bearings.

Though johnny was not able to get anyone to race him (89 4 door audis are obviously monster cars) I had a few takers while we tooled around in my civic. I even ran into an intimidating 4 door Ford from the 80's that had it's very own red-painted exhaust. DIY job for sure. He wouldn't waste the gas on me, as I'm sure his 10 inch rims with moped tires and "custom" exhaust were far too much for my lowly civic.

I did, however, race some chick in a Beretta. Not only did I win, but I beat her with an extra 2 passengers. She got me off the line, but 1st gear reeled her in, and 2nd gear slowly walked by. By 3rd gear, she knew she had been owned D17-style.

Next up was a race I was quite surprised about..... if you all remember, I had posted pics about a "dual exhaust" sunfire and some guy who had "import killer" etched on his back bumper. He gave me some BS about him runnin 14's and how he would whup my S2k in summer.

Anyways, as I'm cruising, I start to catch up to a red sunfire.... and lo and behold, it's got some crooked ghetto *** dual exhaust, and import killer etched into the back bumper. I pace him for a while, revving and getting him annoyed with me. hehe. Finally we catch a light, and I rev like the little ricer that I was that night. lol. Light turns..... launch.... I get half a car. He pulls back the lead, and gets a half car ahead of me. By end of 2nd, however, I'm reeling his lying ricer *** in and starting to slowly walk by him. 3rd gear holds him off, and maybe even gives me another half car at most. He then turned right just after we shut down, trying to make it look like he wasn't racing. Moron. Looks like the import killer got some D17-ownage here too.

Lastly, I was able to take out a mitsubishi mirage. woohoo. lol. I had an integra that kept trying to race me.... but he'd start a car length or more behind me, then floor it, and then ricer fly by every time.... WTF.

Oh yeah, I raced a V6 camaro with gears and exhaust, but obviously had no chance of beating that. Anyways, this friday we are going to go "beater cruising" and we'll be also taking the "beater cam". Look for more stories then. lol

Great stories. Get lots of vids for us. The only thing is its going to take a really long time to download the whole 30 seconds it takes to get to 70 mph or so.[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] j/k

messing with people is pretty fun. sometimes when im in my auto, i just rev at ricers and see what they do. usually they just take off like crazy. I followed This chick in a baby blue integra after she went by the high school parking lot. She checked out my car. She weaves in and out of the cars and later on at some other light, she revs on me. hahaha I dont even wanna bother bc im right behind her, so I just do 3 shitty lil revs. The funniest story though was the time me and my friend were in my car and we saw a red eclipse with clear tails and no other noticeable mods. I looked at the guy and just take off the line. Im going about 50 and im side by side with some dude in a blazer. After the next light, i see the eclipse fly by us. Im about to turn right at the light, and I look to the left and back a lil bit, and I see a police car. When they light went green, the cops lights go on. hahaha. Eclipse gets pulled over. me and my friend were laughing so hard when that happened. I was lucky to not of gotten pulled over and I didnt even think about it even though the police station is on the corner across from the mall, and right on this street. hahaha.

S2000man - do you even have exhaust on your car? Or is it bone stock? Coz the stock exhaust is about the last thing to strike fear in any car lovers' heart. It sounds like a broken weedwacker thats crying.

Those are too funny. I would have really loved too see your friend rev on that old guy. Its cool how you owned that sunfire. I hate riced out domestics who call us stupid slow ricers when they are like twice as pathetic as us.

Well if it makes you feel any better, we only raced up to 50mph on a 45mph road. And with as slow as we went, I'd imagine it's not too dangerous... but yes, I'm usually not one to race with passengers unless they are willing camera people. lol

speed doesnt matter. i put myself into a highly dangerous 180 degree spin at 20 mph. gotta admit drifting is fun though.
