16.090...new personal best
Another visit to Houston Raceway Park (4th so far), I set a new personal best. 16.090 @ 86.03 mph. Sure its not fast, but I'm happy with it (I think its pretty decent for the Civic). I have an 01 Ex Coupe with the AEM cold air intake and custom exhaust. It's a 5 speed manual by the way. The tires are Bridgestones (stock size). I did 5 runs in all tonite; the first four I had a 16.401, 16.426, 16.332, and 16.316. Those first four runs were with maybe 1/6 of a tank of gas and the spare tire still in my trunk. Also it was getting pretty cold outside, most likely around the mid to upper 50's. I took off my head shield on my header and took out the spare for my last run. All of my reaction times were between .539 and .639. Oh and I'll upload a pic of my timeslip whenever attachments start working. Untill then here's the breakdown of my personal best:
R/T: .617
60': 2.473
330: 6.765
1/8: 10.358
MPH: 68.24
1000: 13.472
1/4: 16.090
MPH: 86.03

BTW, nice 1/4 mile time. When the snow clears off the ground around here in July then maybe I'll bring my car to the track.

good time. the 2.4 sec for the 60 got u there.
btw, why did u take off the heat shield? its better with it on...
keeps the engine bay temp down while keeping the header heat up so exhaust fumes will exit faster and smoother.
they dont have it there just so u wont get burn or anything. its still hot afterall.

I was going to switch out with my brother's DC header right there on the spot, but it was night, I was in a hurry, and I got lazy, so I didn't put it back on.
