02' LX vs. V6 Camaro

3.8 V6 in the '01 Monte SS is fair game to those of Us with an ex 5-speed. My mom owns one but I never raced my mom, although I did get a chance to race some guy a couple weeks back. I thought I'm going to loose but guess what? My reaction time was WAY better than his and I managed to pull on him till I reached 3rd gear.From there I kept a 1 1/2 car lenghts between Us until I reached about 85 mph where I slowed down.
From this I'm guessing a V6 Camaro is fair game.

Rep Power: 0 I think the important thing to remember is even if you lose to a Camaro, at least you didn't have to drive that big piece of outdated crap.
The fact that the Camaro wasn't running properly only highlights the fact you shouldn't buy unreliable, gas-guzzling hunks of junk.
Camaro's are a waste of money, I think I could design something better in my own garage!
BTW: I am amazed at how fast my lx coupe is, even more amazed when I average 33mpg on cheap 87octane.

Rep Power: 0 Yes our civics can beat certain v6 Camaros, I have only raced one and it was a late 80s or early 90s and beat it. But no 7thgencivic will beat a 5.0! Thank you come again.
