The only reason Im telling everyone this and busting everyone's chops is due to the fact that I used to own a 2k1 EX as most people know. So if anyone feels the need to flame this thread or talk $hit, take it somewhere else. (LOL)

I was just coming home from Drake Univ playing tennis w/ my girl and I roll up to a stop light. Around 20 seconds later, a 2k1 or 2k1 EX rolls up along side next to me with his/her music going like crazy. I could not see inside as there was too much frost on the windows. Oh, by the way, if anyone doesnt know, I was rolling in my 02 Limited. I look over at him/her, shaking the head saying "nice car", and he/she starts reving their engine back at me. Im like, all right I havent raced one yet, so here goes. I threw it in neutral and started reving my engine back and I can see he/she puts their thumb up at me. The light turned green, and we both took off. I got a big jump right off the bat to about 35mph and was already about 1 1/2 car length ahead of them. By 60mph, I was around 3 car lengths ahead and then I can see Im gaining even more, so I slowed down to the slow lane and flashed my warnings at them. Eventualy I caught up with them who turned out to be a girl. We complemented each other on our cars and she was flabbergasted at being beaten by a Jeep. I told her I used to own a 2k1 manual, and it was a good LITTLE car. She laughed and we were both on our way. Anyways, that was my little adventure for the night. Peace.

thats wierd...chick musta had a slushbox tranny. 3k launch for my crappy $60 tires is perfect for me, but im guessin all these expensive rubber bands can launch higher. ive taken jeeps before.
