2001 civic LX 5 spd VS. Chevy s-10 extreme!
I have intake, and exhaust.. the extreme is stock and an automatic, he goes to my school and wants to race me for $30, you all think i can take him? IM racing him today after school!

Rep Power: 0 last time i checked.. the S-10 X-treme pumped 210 throught a stock vortech supercharger....yea so what if it's automatic... he'll probably kill you whenever he wants....either off the line or he'll chase you down.. and remeber that pickup is pretty light

Rep Power: 0 S-10's pump out 165 ..they don't use a supercharger they use GM Vortec heads
the Vortech bolt on S/C brings it up to 210HP...

Rep Power: 0 I know the first few years of extreme's had a fuel cut-off point at like 98 mph or something around that area, sucks on the highway when you have so much room to play with.

The S-Series come with either a 2.2 or a 4.3...If this kid has the 4.3 Xtreme like I had, you should just fill your tank up with gas and then buy some new air-fresheners...Because YOU'LL LOSE, automatic or not...

a vortech supercharger would bump the 4.3l up to 242 hp at the tires with no other mods.
the only way you're gonna out run him is if he has a 2.2l or if he cant drive worth a ****

Rep Power: 0 my friend has a gmc sonoma 2.2 which is basically the same car... whenever i raced him, i would take him by 4 or 5 car lengths easy.... i've never raced a 4.3 s-10 though... could be fun....

Rep Power: 0 the s-10 extreme i think has the same engine as a blazer extreme. my friend has a 99 mercury cougar 5spd. 2.5 v6, with a full exhaust.
he raced an automatic blazer extreme and got smoked by like 2 cars. the blazer was spinning tires through the whole first gear, even though its automatic. i have a 02 ex. i raced the cougar. in quarter mile he takes me by about a car. so u will get ur [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] smoked by the the s-10. save ur money. buy some gas.

Rep Power: 0 I just got home from work, and we raced today after school, and ive got 3 brand new shiny 10 dollar bills in my pocket. We met at this gas station on a 4 lane road after school today, we pulled out side by side, at about a 15 mph roll he gave the 1.2.3 and we both stomped it, he started to pull about a nose then we hit second and i started coming back by the end of second i had him by a half of car, and then at about 90 is was about 1 car lenght ahead of him, we were only racing to 90 cause of his fuel cut off switch now i think i will buy something more than just gas and air freshners!!!
