Not nocking you or anything, but that was not that great as far as autoxing goes; the guy was driving an auto accord, and looked like he was going for a Sunday drive. I guess that is possible when it is an autox course with a total of 10 cones. The video itself however was pretty damn sweet
. We should have your buddy come and set that up on a couple of real autox cars, on a real course, with a real driver.

1.5 miles and a heck of a lot of cones. And for an auto accord, he didnt do to bad acatually. Considering the 2 fastes cars out there were a BMW 525 dainan 3 tuned, and a Evo VIII MR running 2:12's were everyone else ran about an average of 2:30.
sorry I did not mean to come across as an a$$. That is a heck of a big track, which is probabally why the cones are so sparsley layed out. Really if everyone of those dots are cones then there is only enough for a track a fraction of that size. I am guessing that it was not an SCCA event, which would explain why it is different. I do admit sometimes it would be cool to be able to rip around a track that size without worrying about cones. This is a vid of one of just many autox that I participated in this year, it is not me but it is an MR2 that is pushing it pretty good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsz46XcNRug This is similar in size to the course that you posted and the cones are very thin; however, it is a track and there is the whole thing of not wanting to crash.

haha, yeah the auto stick holder... uhh. I used to do that when I drove other peoples auto's. But now that I got my vic, its been manual forever. When your really pushing your car, one hand is going to make you crash.
Whats up with that mr2 video being sped up anyways?

It is not sped up, that autox course was a fast and intense course
. Times where averaging around 1 min from start to end, so with the extra video before the start and after the finish it puts him at around 63 sec. I posted that to show how intese an autox can be vs. the one-hand sunday drive in the other video

The reason that corner 8 was excluded is that it is a common place for oversteer and there is a wall infront of the pits that is commonly hit.
