my 7thgen vs. tC
but inline-6 is the bomb... twin turbo.... got to love that. oh yeah also the skyline has the same set up but awd....all japan muscle cars are inline-6
Well they just ended the iron straight six with the IS300 you could always buy up one of those and turbo the crap out of it. Just good luck dealing with everything else not being made for a sports car.

i would say you should compare the base rsx to the Tc, that is a better comparision...the type s is more money, but you get what you pay for! The rsx has proven its self...i have never met someone who said man i wish i didnt get this car.

Since 1994, it really seems as if Toyota really doesn't care about offering an "end-all" sports car to its customers. Hell, the fastest toyota on the road RIGHT NOW is either the upcoming 268hp Camry, or the 268hp RAV-4.... which would be unseating the V8 4-runner! This obviously excludes the IS350, which uses the same motor in a different config.
Yes, it gives me the red-***, but the fact of the matter is that toyota is quite successful regardless. They're MUCH bigger than Honda, and nearly twice the size of GM. The motors have lots of potential and are extremely durable, but need some tuning to bring it out, especially when it comes to the GOD_AWFUL -FE head. A port/polish job on a tC gives you 25-30whp and 35-40wtq on an otherwise STOCK motor.
If the tC had something anything like Hondata, it'd be a big tuner vehicle. But until then, if you get a tC, you're looking at around 14.8 with I/H/E/pulley and good driving. Not fast, but not too shabby. With boost, the wallet's the limit.

yeah toyota is the biggest and the best auto maker in the world... if u go to norway(rich people mostly) they are taken over by toyota's... u.s.a is taken over by HONDA. i take honda over toyota anyday, cuz thats i all i want to drive and thats all i ever bough... but now i want a suzuki gsxr600 and sell my em2 turbo
If I was a 35 year old with a family, toyota would be one of my first choices.
20 year old college student, honda (even though their warranty policy is hypocritical, but thats another topic for another day)

no the fastest toyota engine right now thats in a toyota and not a lexus is the 05/06 avalon.....306hp ona 3.5liter. where do you think they got the is350 engine from?
after the 1st year of the 3rd gen avalon they took it down from 306 to 280
It all depends on the driver and auto/mt.
I want a tc, those are so easy to modify and responds well to bolt ons.

yeah....i want one too but i havent read the best reviews about them. the interior is very very cheap. plus my dad's friend that works @ toyota dealer told us that they get alota sunroof problems, such as leaks. and the rear of the car (inside) starts making sounds within a year or so....

Hey..if You Beat Him..then Thats Good ****.
Even If The Other Car Is Suppose To Beat You...if You Come Up Ahead After The Race..then A Win Is A Win. Anything Is Possible. If Races Could Be Predicted Just By Numbers Then There Wouldnt Be A Point In Racing. Good Kill.
