Great weekend in Central Florida
OK i just thought i would share this. I live in tampa and on friday my fiance and i were going to get some food when this celica GTS-R comes up and challenges me...so i was like what the hay(i thought i would loose), and from a roll at 40 i got about half a car on him and kept it to about 85 then we both let off for the red light. Then just about an hour ago i was traveling back from the east coast of florida and this cougar want to race...so we did 3 times....and i WALKED his ***!!! The best race was the third..started at about 70 and he got the jump on me, but i was slowly catching him and got next to him then shifted into 5th and just started to pull away...i was amazed...and excited. Well that was my weekend for you guys, just thought i would share.

Rep Power: 0 hmm... i hate to be the first to be kind of negative, but i drove my friend's Celica GTS 6-speed everywhere for a week while she was out of town, and i raped the **** out of every car i raced... it has the TRD package (intake, exhaust, sway bars front and rear, lowering springs, maybe more... i'm not a Toyota guy) and is riding on 18" Mille Miglias... from a roll, from a stop, didn't matter...
i started **** with everything from Daewoos to dump trucks (and every domestic and import in between) and over the course of a week, i didn't even come close to losing once...
maybe you have a ridiculously fast car... maybe her GTS has $10,000 in mods that i don't know about (it's not boosted, but that's about the extent of my knowledge)... maybe the other driver sucks, or maybe GTS autos in general suck... i don't know... all i know is that i'm a huge Honda fan, but this car would have owned any member on this site that's not swapped or boosted

Rep Power: 0 i agree with you completely!!! but i know that i stayed in front of him, and that it said GTS on that back...now most likely he sucked at driving and it was an auto, but i still won...
