And it's not like help wouldn't arrive pretty quick. If someone sees a crash happen they generally report it when they get to the paddock. While I was there they had the track closed for a good 30-45 minutes to take someone to the hospital and clean up the wreck. So long as the first response takes place within that 'golden hour' of an injury many lives get saved.

Besides, you're better off there than say the Autobahn, or those high speed areas in the mid-west US. I've been on those mid-west highways, you can go hours without seeing anybody, to me that is far more dangerous when you have livestock all over the place to hit.
