i was mistaken road and track put down a 4.7 0-60 and a 13.2 1/4

i dont know what the hell i searched under but oh well. i was mistaken. the cars can run a 13.2 and i know i saw faster times but i cant find them for the life of me now. i searched earlier under a bunch of different words and i cant see to find the same combo that led me to those times. oh well. i know its a low 13 not low 12 sec car. so my badd

would have to agree on the roll thing. wrx have pretty good turbo lag. from a roll rsx-s are faster. it was in a R&T magazine. impressively bad from a roll.

The 300c was never meant to haul ***, it was meant to be quick, but the SRT-8 is a sports car pretty much, It is meant to haul *** so its not that embarassing a turbo 4 banger got beat by a monster v8 engine that was made to haul ***

I was only jumping on him because the way it sounded to me was like as if he was first saying that he beat a WRX and then later on in the thread it sounded like he was saying he beat an Sti.

i htink i may have been the one to make the confusion. i am the one that mentioned an STI or EVO. the SRT8 model would keep up, but not a reg. 300c

I'm sorry but the 5.7 hemi in that 300 is not fast. I raced my friends from a 30mph roll and instantly put a car on him and kept pulling away! The srt-8 is another story. That one rapes me!!

lol the 300C with the 5.7 liter hemi could put buslengths on you in a race. your eclipse with intake, intercooler piping, and "free mods" would be lucky to run a 15 flat. the 300C can run about 14.0 stock. Yeah, and my car eats C6's for breakfast.

the whole kill story in this thread is about a 300C beating a WRX. NEITHER of which your car has any chance of being faster than with its current mods.

actually I've raced several. a GST with 21psi on an upgraded turbo and other mods could be a fun run for my car. anything less and I won't waste the gas.

you're running 16psi with what? oh let me guess, you installed the intake and then removed the boost control solenoid restrictor and removed the BOV dump tube. so you went from 175whp to 200whp. again, you might be able to run a high 14 time compared to the low 15's stock, but you won't beat a properly driven WRX, and definitely not a 300C.

Sorry, but I tell it like it is, and if you have grandiose dreams about your GST, they won't fly here.

Once again why are you arguing over something that we will never be able to see? The fact that a DSM has to run 20psi to be a fun run is a joke. I'm glad you USED to have a DSM cause if you still did you would give us a bad name. Your showing your typical ricer post which most of these Honda guys don't have on here. I would stop with these flame post and just accept what I said for what it is, which is my experience. By the way s2000 are really not that impressive kid.

B. not impressive? you're right, an n/a 4 cylinder that can whup your 4 cylinder with its 16 pounds of boost by about 1.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile isn't impressive. Is that using ricer logic?

Why will we never be able to see it? You want to prove it, put a time slip up. Motor Trend got a 14.27 with the 300C, so since you KILL them, I would expect to see a mid to low 13 second time slip from you. And to get a DSM like your's into the 13's isn't easy since you are only FWD, not that it can't be done with some well thought out mods, but I'm guessing you don't have that slip. If you do, then scan it in, post it and I'll shut up.

so what turbo are you running on the car mr casual?? i pmd you about my neighbors gsx, sorry i didnt call i think he may have a buyer already. that car went 11.76 @26 psi with a buschurr racing 20g, huge front mount, all new ic piping, intake mani, t/b, dsm link, walbro pump, aeromotive FPR, 550cc injectors, clutch and a few more things i know i am missing. but the car is put back to stock now. although i did help with the progression of the project. i saw the thing go from a 15.1 stock to a 11.76. this is also on some kuhmo ecstas with stock rims. so traction was an issue when all four tires light up at the starting line. i saw and helped him push the limits of each turbo he had on there. 14b-16g-20g plenty of different fuel set ups and 3 different intercoolers and 3 motors total. with the 16g he was able to cut the time down to a high 13. so it is believeable to me that you can keep up or beat the 300c depending on conditions and driver of the car but you wouldnt walk it as bad as your making it seem. i do know the full potential of the car becasue as i said i did hellp with a lot of the install work to get the car to where it was before he went back to stock. oh yeah he went back to stock to sell because he bought a evo VIII.

some of us live local to him. he could always meet us up at irwindale/cali speedway to make a few runs. im sure derik(aznbysrfr) could give him a few runs for his money

you are 100% correct sir! my bad i looked at his future modifications and it says BIG 16G TURBO, i misread it i thought he had the 16g already. if that was the case i can see the car running a good run with a 300c. but now that i realize he has a 14b there is no way. i am now changing my tune completely because i know what the capabilities of a 14b a 16g and a 20g from first hand experience, that 14b is a weak turbo

If your all about DSM's then why arnt you on a DSM sight? Do you have a 7th gen as well just wondering.. And yes DSM's are fast as **** but i dont know about the kill thing cause ive never seen those two cars race.

no. stock boost is around 13-14psi. on that they run low 15's. 16psi will get them into high 14's at best.

5 more psi on say a 16G isn't going to take 2 seconds off their time to go from high 14's to high 12's.

this is a general indication, however, with a bigger turbo and lots of other mods and good tuning, about 25psi can get them into 12's no problem. the GSX would run it even faster. (awd duh)
