beat my time...

but i still feel i could have been better.i went to the track 3 times so far and improved everytime. I have a stock Lx and last time i went to the track, my best time was this was 17.685 (16.97) @ 76.84 (80.0), my best run this tme was

best ---- 2nd
rt: .546 ---- .196
60: 2.718 ----2.623
330: 7.354 ----7.400
1/8 11.232 ----11.326
mph: 62.81 ----61.42
1000: 14.606 ----14.750
1/4 17.463 ----17.575
mph: 77.84 ----79.31

(1/4) 16.766
(mph) 81.1

i had 28 psi in my front tires and 37 in the rear. this was at 3300ft, 16.766 is with the sea level converter chart.
i got a 2.564 60' but i miss shifted 2nd... this is why i think my time could be faster.
my car was 2575 with me in it. on my second best run, i dont understand how my 60' and my trap speed can be faster but still get a slower time. can anyone explain that to me?

Whoa a 17.46 at 3300 feet is a 16.76 at sea level?!?! I don't think 3000 feet is gonna knock off .7 seconds....

Anyways, work on ur launches. A good driver can pull 2.2-2.3 60 foot times.

http://www.iroc-zpostforum.com/NHRACF.htm for the elevation factors. it kinda makes sense because my roomate ran a 15.00 with his 05 350z.

i tried a bunch of different launches. the one that worked best was explained on a how do you launch tread. kept the gaz around 3.5k dropped the clutch, keep the gaz at the same place until the tires hook up and floor it. dont know if the altitude makes it bad, because a lot of cars seemed to have high 60'.

not bashing but I would try a higher rpm launch and get on the gas sooner. those are horrific 60 ft times. It looks to me like you are bogging. Its good to keep the wheels spinnig just a bit on your way out of the box. < its a fine line. first get on the gas sooner at the current rpm. if that improves your 60 ft times then start to raise the rpm at launch until you see your times get worse. once you have all of that start to play with your air pressure.
