Shattered My Axle
So Friday night im out at the track, starting to finally do good. Just finished runing a 14.7@98 mph and had let the beast cool down. The temp outside was about 40 degrees, great for the track! What was going to be the last run of the night, and it was, sucked. I did a quick little burn out, in the burn out box to dry my tires off, and was staged and ready to go. Blink.. Blink.. Blink.. Green *and im off!* WEll maybe for like a ft or so. then. Bamb... rattle rattle rattle to bout the 60ft mark, and nothing, cant go. I realized right then in there and thought in my head "Damb i broke my axle." Turns out not only did a break it, but I shattered the drivers side axle at the splines that go into the rotor. Ended up getting it put on a flat bed tow truck and towed it home. Right now i am trying to get the beast up and running again, Its sitting there looking sad and lonely. So looks like now ill be ordering a set of Hasports Stage 2 Axles for my K20EM2.

I know 98 mph and 14.7 dont really match up that well, but im still having bad 60ft times. Ive got a tie bar, front and rear strut bars, going to see if that helps. But got to get an axle first. As for the meet, im still going to try and make it! Hopefully ill get the new stuff in and on by then.

Better MPG? The beat him in reverse part I could probably believe, but better MPG, no way.
