Ex Vs Lx
More specifically, SOHC VTEC VS SOHC
Anyone have any encounters like this? Is the vtec version faster bar none?
I have one encounter of a "show" night in Austin. After the local "show", i followed some imports to a remote area in Hicksville and did our thing. I did some runs with a Subaru WRX, a CRX, a Civic LX and a Mistu Eclipse. OF course out of them all I only won against the Civic LX. The other three cars won by a 1/2 car length or more, excluding the WRX which killed me by 2-3 car lengths. The interesting thing is the LX and my EX ran a couple of times just to see how the motors compete, and the EX Vtec always won. The LX was mildly modified but was behind by 3-4 car lengths. What i want to know is the LX even worth modifying? Can it beat the EX?
