raced friend's rsx-s
my dad just bought a 2005 honda accord 4dr v6 a couple months ago..never really got to drive it until today when my friend came over to wash are cars. ive read great reviews of the car and also read its capable of running a 14.9 in the 1/4 automatic that is..anyways my friend asked if we wanted to race just to c how fast it was soo i was like **** it took my dad's keys and headed off around the block where a stop sign was..my boy got a 04 rsx-s wit i/e and say's he can hit high 14's all day..so we take off and i can hear his tires peeling out while hes in first and were even until 2nd he starts to pull a half car on me and into 3rd he pulls to a car lead on me and it stays that way till we let off around 80-90 mph...
"wash are cars"?
Common, that cant be a typo.
Heh, yea raced a 6spd V6 coupe (05) a while back (before the cams and other engine mods) I was making 170WHP and 130Tq.. about what a RSX makes at the wheels. Of course my car is also a bit lighter. Anyway I managed to beat him by a little more then a car length by 100MPH the 3 times we ran.
Most magazines maanage to drum up 14.5s@~96MPH for the MT 6spd coupes.
Id love to run that guy again now though. Id put a real hurting on him at this point.

yeah my mom has a 2003 accord V6 auto. pretty quick, MUCH quicker than the 6th gen accord v6. race him again ('cept with premium in the tank). templeofvtec dyno'd a significant gain in power with 93 octane fuel.
and dont forget to turn of TCS (although there is more wheelspin off the line, you wont risk limiting the power put to the ground).
