Very, very, bad night at the track
It was a very frustrating evening at the track.
A few of my friends broke some things and I too experienced a malfuntion with the N20. I am pretty sure it is my electronic WOT switch. It gave me problems when I installed it and I thought I fixed it cause it was working. Then last night I make a pass down the track and it doesnt want to activate. That's what I get for buying supposidly brand new stuff off Ebay I guess.
Even if it was working I don't think I would have done that great considering I was spinning like crazy all motor. I could not get traction. Spinning off the line and even second on 111whp with DR's? WTF It had rained earlier in the day and it was very hot and humid so the only conclusion I can come to is shitty track prep coupled with humidity. My car had condensation all over it so I can imagine the track did as well, plus dumbasses were running there ac and dripping all over the track. I don't think I'm gonna go to that track anymore.
Best run was a 15.834@85.65 with a shitty 2.22460ft spinning off the line and spinning in 2nd.
The V2 intake was completly heat soaked so that didn't help much either. Im going to install the mechanical WOT switch and just eat the $100 that I paid for the electronic one then head to the other track in a few weeks or maybe just wait a couple months when it cools down around here.
Also need to do something about the V2.

Get intake tube from here. Expensive but its easy to remove and put on. Blame it on the track cause it sounds like they didn't prep at all.

also ... that intake heat tubing isn't going to be as effective as getting a cai since you're still getting air from the 100+ degree under-the-hood temps.
Same thing happened with me at the track my first time. My throttle body wasn't hitting my WOT switch and made me feel all depressed because I thought I wired everything wrong. Scrap that electrical switch and put on the mechanical one. Good luck at the track next time. Whens the next time your going?

Ok sorry been gone all weekend. I figured out why my N20 wasn't working at all fri night. So yes I ran a 15.8 all motor.
I had a bunch of crap piled into my glovebox. Well some of this crap overflowed behind it when I shut it and knocked the spade connector loose from the tap connector that was attached to the TPS wire. DOH!! Owned by my own messiness.
Also found out that one of the guys from texas later that eve found his oil cap in his driveway when he got home. Opnened the hood up and oil was everywhere. So it's a pretty safe bet he was dripping oil all over the track. Then peoples Ac's and humidity didn't help. It was like being on ice out there. Everyone has pretty much agreed never to go there again. Gonna try to go to the other track soon and get some damn times on the N20.
Also need to address this intake issue.

yeah next time u will do better. Sounds like ur track is pretty bad. Sacs track is alright but it sucks when people either blow there mtr, tranny, or have an oil leak because then it takes forever for the people to prep and clean the track and ur not going to get the runs u hoped for
