seems pretty good to me for a gts. Intake, exhaust, tires would probably do the trick.
Those cars run about a 15.4 stock I think?

Stock TypeS usually runs 14.9 with a decent driver, if I'm not mistaken thats neck and neck with the GTS, so yeah, 14.9 is passable.

Ummm.... .i know of a couple "auto" cars that would wipe every car on this board.... In both heads-up AND bracket racing.

And yes, you can make claims like that when you're talking about supercharged LS1's... that ususally get .521 or better r/t's, and run between 10.98-11.03 EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Yes, I understand that automatic transmissions have a natural disadvantage in low-power drag racing due to their drivetrain losses, but when you're serious about bracket racing, you want to be as consistent as possible. Then, automatic transmissions rule. There also comes a point where a manual transmission slows you down, simply because you can't shift fast enough.

edit... and to answer the thread topic... GTS's (fed spec) will run anywhere from 14.8 (professional driver) to mid 15's. Mostly, low 15's.

as everyone said, 14.9 is doable...my sister's exboyfriend had an 01 GTS and at the track i was usually putting down low/mid 14's and he was consistent with 14.8-14.95, he just had clutch/flywheel, intake
