g35 and silvia encounter

encounter with g35 and silvia, flame all you want plz, I like my threads having the most posts.

Stock 6spd g35 (maybe that tip tronic cuz people fake it) vs turbo vic at 4-6 psi
g35 followed me through keeping behind me, switched to the lanes to pass me but I was in 2nd gear going like 20-30 mph, he floors it so I floor it. After that I was way in front cuz of traffic, I stuck to the right while he was behind in left to catch up so we could race. We raced twice from a stop, we stayed dead even til third gear wheere I had to brake for traffic, we caught another light together, we stayed dead even, the guy was getting a jump, but maybe like a bumper length. And he had to stop for traffic, after that he quit I think cause he didnt catch up after he stopped, I was in the right going slow. So I just made my turn and went home. Got a big smile from him.

240 silvia? had roll cages no interior whatsoever! guy gave me a thumbs up for keeping up with him.
We raced from a freeway started on 4th, the guy just floored it without notice, but I was on 4th gear going 65ish so I jammed it in fourth, he had a car length on me but He stopped after that. Wish I could have gone more with him, but he stopped racing after that and went onto another freeway. He gave me big thumbs up with a smile.

...... i think you need to start going to the track and posting some videos. the 05 6MT G35 coupe is just as fast as an S2000 from a roll. and even at the full 6psi, you aren't as fast as that.

I'm not going to say it didn't happen, because anything is possible. even saw a viper run a 14 last weekend. however, keep in mind the faster cars did not win here.

I'm not tryin to tick you off, but you putting on a 6psi turbo to a car that runs high 15's stock with the best drivers and the best conditions, will NOT let you run even with cars that do 13's. high 14's would be your best bet.

Have you even dyno'd or tuned your car yet? What are you using to control air/fuel if you have? Or are you just running the bolt on kit at 4-6 psi?

I dont know why but my car seems faster than its running. Could it be cause I bled the boost to get more? I dont know, I need a boost controller real bad.

It could have been an auto, but I dont know for sure.

we didnt go from a roll we went from a dead stop.

Im running the upgraded sf kit with the sf fmu, without alchy.

you should really dyno/tune your car. running blind psi is dangerous considering the mod you have. you dont want to blow up your engine because you're running too lean and detonate the crap out of your mixture.
