HIDDEN SLEEPER
sup
im looking for a unique car project after my monkey aka my 1G GSX got spanked by a neon.
I found that the nissan 200sx 84-88 is also called the (s12) 180sx in japan and silvia / gazelle in aussie.
silvia S12 US version has ca18e, ca18et or vg30e motors. In japan it had the FJ20ET which I heard
can boost supa power. S12 came in notchback and in hatchback ( it looks like corolla gts/sprinter tureno)
It shares the same suspension as the skyline GTS R31 and Z31 i think. Since its part of the silvia family
dropping a sr20det is possible or ca18det. The only bad thing it lacks aftermarket support but some S12 tuners
were able to push 200+hp (heard). The good thing its RWD and only 2600lbs curb. Also its really cheap like
$400-$600 the prices i saw. I was going for corolla gts but they are more expensive. Im aiming for cheap drifter
cars for now. this seems a good car ($600) to me to work on with a ca18det drop on priced around $1400 complete swap.
plus alot of ppl even never heard of 200sx (s12) excpet the 95 sentra base coupe 200sx. so when i pass ppl by
they be like saying wtf was that a corolla lol.
so what guys think? should i go for it?

Who cares when you got rear wheel drive and are drifting through corners???
If it were my choice I look at it this way: I drive a slow Civic now. If I get an AE86, at least I'll be able to have cargasms any time I damn well please
