Ok, i have a 02 civic lx with intake and axle-back exhaust, i raced a 01 civic hx and beat him, he had intake and cat-back. So I was wondering if i was should have won? How fast are they supposed to be?

well those have 117 hp and with mods prolly lost about 3-5 hp...prolly so did u...but his car is meant to be a high gas milage car not for speed

Thats funny, i've never seen an intake and exhaust take hp away on any dyno charts, why don't you back that up?

people have posted dynos for our cars where they lose or dont gain anything. It just makes a different sound, and alters the powerband.

Dumb questoin from an informed noob.. but is there anything that makes our cars a lil faster? I am pissed i really think i should have gone with the ugly as hell si or the scion tc which is kinda a chick car. The civic is a slow pos. i still love my civic its like 3 weeks old but damn slow.
