So my friend Drew is back in town and wants to race!

He drives a 01 Integra LS with exhaust and he just put a pulley kit on.

I have an 01 EX with I/H/E, hks-a downpipe, exedy clutch, and ACT flywheel (and a REVO SS.....if that matters, lol)

Last time we raced I only had a generic intake and exhaust, he only had his exhaust. He won...but it wasn't by much I was probably right at his bumper...it was so long ago i can't remember though - i just know he won...

and i know we all hate the "who would win between......" threads but I gotta ask....

anybody think i have a chance?? i know his car is faster..but do you think the difference between engines is negligible if i get a crazy launch on him or if he messes up?

sorry for the gay thread....haha im bored at work and would like to know...

my friend mike has a 01 ls w/ dc sports exhaust and I actually ran him yesterday from 20-110 with my lx, and I finally got him by about a 1/2
a car at the end so it should be close, but the ls motor is moody and sometimes I beat him in my car and then others like when I ran him in that video that I posted about the si, it runs really strong and can hang with that... so if ur running a modded EX, which are supposed to be faster then the LXs, then u should be in good shape

moody, eh? interesting. i ran this guy for the 1st time out in the cuts and thats where he beat me...but i didn't mention that we raced at a light after that race and he freaking killed me..it was wierd cuz it was only a few days later

yeah, its weird cause he'll beat me some days then ill beat him others... and he's a good driver. so its always fun to run him cause u never know what's gonna happen

yup..plus when i raced him we were still in HS, and i had just got my civic...and it was the first stick i drove....its been QUITE some time now so hopefully i'll beat him

i did beat my friends b16...but he claims his vtec controller and a/f controller weren't tuned.

that's quite possiable cause, this kid I know has a b16a, and its untuned, and its not fast at all

thanks for all the replies guys! now i feel really confident going into a race with him tonight!!! lol jk..but it is going down tonight i just talked to him. and i might have to race with 2 steelies (w/good tires) and 2 18's (with ok tires) lol

my friend who was holding my steelies in his garage had 1 of his cousins by and use 2 of my tires and now he can't get a hold of him. but hopefully he'll talk to him by tonight and get them back for me. either way i'll let you guys know how it goes...im pretty sure he'll take me but it will be fun either way.

oh and don't worry we'll be sure to RACE on BUSY streets with kids and grandmas outside playing hopstotch and croquet
