First time at englishtown

Me and a few friends of mine went to englishtown raceway tonight, i ran my stock 2k1 civic just to see what i could do. Needless to say i'm addicted! I ran on some really shitty all season tires so that didnt help, but it was a good tiime anyway!

first run

r/t .799
60' 2.667
330 7.267
1/8 11.070
mph 63.88
1000 14.379
1/4 17.153
mph 80.37

second run

r/t .453
60' 2.761
330 7.389
1/8 11.201
mph 64.33
1000 14.492
1/4 17.252
mph 80.22

third run, my best, ran against a 1300 hp camaro with a parachute on the back

r/t .246
60' 2.488
330 7.020
1/8 10.794
mph 64.95
1000 14.062
1/4 16.811
mph 80.56

when i cut the 2.4 i had let some air out of my tires, which is probably the only reason why. IT looks so easy when u watch it, but damn when your at the tree, its crazy. My friend came down with a basiclly stock first gen tallon TSI, 16g turbo running stock boost, gutted cat, stockk everythign else, his first time at a track to

r/t .072
60' 2.2
et 15.2
mph 89.xx

i was astonished. I'm going to try and keep going, it was so much fun, even though my car iis stock i feel its all about beating your own times. Anyway enjoy and feel free to analyze

it's all about your launch. you should be able to knock another .2 seconds off your time at least.

how are you launching?
what kinda tires you running?
what psi were your tires at?
