yeah nice vid. I like the site, it has some funny videos. I like the one where that gsx tries to race that m3 and his piston went out..lol. that guy was a idiot. The guy in the m3 must've been laughing his *** off.
Yes, totally stock, not a single upgrade, even stock tires, and yes the tiburon was going because I know him, and afterwords he said, "wow I thought my car was fast before this" my friend dan with the TC also produced similar results against the tibby, it was a v6, and mt and had just beat a cavilear minutes prior

idk either, ive had the same luck. Ive beat 2 v6 tibbies aswell, both from digs, both I had incredible launchs and held strong to about 90-95mph where I had almost a car length and i just shut down.
Im guessing is was my launch, cuz don't those cars do high 14's stock? I would consider myself w/ my mods (i/e) low 15's, and im an average @ best.

Thanks....yeah that was a SVT contour too... stock tiburons run high 15's at best in the 1/4th, the tibbys have zero top end but are prety torquey there power band drops off after 5k rpms
http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/fe...01scc_20gstib/ heres a link showing that tiburons run high 15's 15.8 in this article
Tiburon V6s are consistently 15.8 cars. Their "range" is probably 15.6-16.0 for stock, with some guys getting lucky and others not.
Their main problem is that they share the Nissan Spec-V 6-speed transmission, which is much better suited for the VQ25 and not the hyundai engine. Decent handling characteristics, though, and very good design and build quality. Yes, I said it. Build quality on a Hyundai.
I got the chance to test one out a few months back, trading off with the owner. Racing, I consistently pulled on him. We switched cars, and drove each other's cars for a bit.
I'll admit, although my brick is faster in a straight line, the tibby felt a little more solid, as if it wanted to get thrown around a corner. I'd definitely consider sporting one, if I could finally get over the Hyundai nameplate... but a 100,000 mile EVERYTHING warranty might help convince me
