I never condone street racing, but I was heading from my buddy's place and he was following. He has an 02 TJ, 4.0 I6 with a 3.5 RE lift, 33's and 15 inch steelies. He's running 4.10 gears. I figured he'd get me off the line, we talked about it before and we both concluded that he'd get me of the line due to the torquey engine and low gears. Well we got a chance, when we stared we both bogged the engines (we didnt want to attract attention) and I had a car length by 30mph and pulled til 60, by then I was about 2 car lengths, we stopped right after that. I guess we were wrong. We guessed that since my engine revs so damn quick I was able to get up the my power range quicker.

yeah that and you are about 3000 pounds lighter lol sometimes its not the most HP that wins. I suppose if you both wanted to race across a mud hole he might get ya though.

Well those Jeeps are torque monsters especially when geared low...so....it was interesting.
