02' civic ex i/h/e vs. 98' 200sx se-r i/h/e
its a drivers race my friend. i'm assuming u both have 5 spds. weights about the same as yur vic and has 140 horse and 132 torque...stock. we'll see. its a drivers race. but the se-r SHOULD win.
I must admit, I lost to one of those. The guy was a stupid **** and wanted to race right when cop was in the other lane, soon as the cop left the guy floored it and I could tell he already had something but I dont know what. At the time my bottle was empty so I couldnt spray and took 1st and 2nd gear then the guy prolly sprayed cuz he caught up and passed me and we both shut down. He wanted to go more but I had to go the other way.
I race him with i/h/e
I race him with i/h/e

SR20 > D17
More HP
More TRQ
Weights ONLY 32lbs more
Aggressive/Close Gear Ratio
Nissan heads (myself) knows the sr20 responds stupid well to mods and Im not talking FI. His mods will pull more hp/trq than yours. I own a 2k1 sentra se (sr20 motor)The SE-R will win.

let me tell you one thing though, if both u raced u will win cuz it will last the race while the ser will break down. nissan cars have shitty reliability.
if im not mistaking its a 98 200sx SER??? didnt think they made a se-r in that year and if they did it was slow as **** cause i never herd anything about it. its not the new body style se-r that ur all thinking of, u should have no problem if u know how to drive
140 HP
132 lb-ft
2586 Lbs
Limited-slip differential.

Just by the numbers, the civic is at a disadvantage. From a modding standpoint, the SR20 just responds better, being larger and DOHC. Factory turbo versions are nasty little buggers as well.
I mean, under the right circumstances, the civic can win.. of course... but I wouldn't put any money on this one.
