I shouldn't really post this because it was pathetic but oh well. I was on the highway coming home from the mall today cruising at about 80mph in my WRX. I was just chatting with the woman when this early to mid 90's civic started pacing me. I just shook it off at first because it wouldn't even be a race. Well, the kid and his friends start pointing and laughing at me. So I tell my girl to hold on a sec and put my phone down. I motion to the driver to go ahead and floor it. Well he downshifts and his crapa$$ exhaust starts wailing. I sit back for a min or two and give him a good headstart. After he gets about 2 or 3 cars ahead, I just floor it in 5th gear without downshifting. Didn't take too much time at all to pull even with him. I figured that I'd let him believe that I had a hard time keeping up so I slowed and paced him for a couple of seconds. He starts laughing again, thinking he his keeping up with me, so I floor it again. I shut down at about 110mph with about a bus length or two between us. I could have put more distance between us but I figured that he got the point. Like I said, it was pathetic but it will give you guys something to read. Oh and my wrx is pretty much stock.

Man, I've driven a few wrx's, those are some nice machines. You should have dropped it into 4th or 3rd if possible the second time and just showed them whats up hardcore.

The same thing happened to me but with a maxima, it was superbowl sunday when i was driving my girl home and a kid in his 01-02 maxima pulled up next to me with all his little 12 year old girfriends laughing at me when he floored it i just kept cruising, it wasn't even worth it. even if his car was empty and my car was packed ide smoke him, some people are just plain stupid. He probabbly went to all his friends and said he smoked a GTO. Now that I think of it i should of raced him so His girlfriends could laugh at him but he probbably would of made tons of excuses.
