My old 2001 EX auto with Injen CAI, DC Sports TCS exhaust, and DC sports header ran an 18.34 @ 75 mph

my 2004 VP 5-speed ran a 16.7 @ 85 when it was 100% stock

Its a waste of money to race our Civics period, regardless of transmission, IMHO. Even in a manual EX coupe it's embarassing to see 16.5 flash up.

Reaction time doesnt count against you so it doesnt matter. You shouldnt have bothered. That was a waste of gas.

Yes you can. I've got I/H/E and a Sun Hypervoltage system on my 01 HX and I hit a 16.89 running on 91 octane. The trick is to hold the brake down as far as it'll go and give the car some gas before you launch. Release the brake at the same time you push WOT and you'll see your 60ft times drop.

what rpm range is good?
I was reving to 2.5-3k.

UPDATE: I went to the track today and ran a 16.942 @ 83 mph.
Atleast I am in the 16's finally.

i finally got 16.9
so i guess it is possible for n/a autos to get
in the 16's.I thought low 17's was the limit.
