does anyone know the specs on this car hp weight ect. We went twice from a stop the first time I missed third and got wasted. The second time I won by about 1/2 car cutting off at 80. I am not boosted and really did not think I even stood a chance, but yes he was definatley racing and no I don't think he missed a gear. hmm?? Oh well a kill is a kill. by the way is that car AWD too???

GST is around 2,700 pounds. They are factory rated at 210hp. Sorry to say, I tried a little run with one a while ago, and he kept ahead of me pretty easy, not mention he was auto, and mine is manual.

So..he prob wasn't trying on that second run there big guy.

There Are A Lot Of Ppl That Put Gst Signs On Their Eclipes. Probably It Was One Of Those... Ive Raced One With My 89 Legend 5sp Two Years Ago And I Beat Him By A Bumper. Those Things Are Pretty Quick Did U Hear The Turbo?

my friend had a 97 gsx....motor was kind of beat and i am a better driver than him. his was 5 spd and i beat him more than 3 times, racing to the top of third gear, once on video with my 01 ex. i dont care if anyone calls bullshit. if i knew how to post video or link it or whatever, you'd see.

no It had a turbo I could hear the blowoff. 210 hp is not that great for a boosted 2.0 DOHC its more than what I have, but if he got a bad launch (he did I got him by about a car from the start) then maybe. He was trying to win I could tell by the way he was driving. I don't know??? He did have his gf in the car she looked skinny, maybe she had a 300lb . I don't blame you for calling bs I would to, but it did happen

both of those mention that they weigh between 3000-3200 pounds, which is about the same weight as the current eclipse gts, which also has 210 hp and hits low 15's stock

well the style that i raced was the second over 3000lbs and only 210hp is that to the wheels??? I hope Why does it get so much less hp that a boosted B series?? even a boosted D gets more hp. He was definatly trying to race that car is just not as impressive as I thought

I beat quite a few GST's with my Tundra (modded 300hp/360 tq "crank"). They run a 15.1 stock from the factory. My bro in law modded his (awd swap) and upgraded everything but internals. He was running low 12's with it when he sold it. Now he has an Evolution.

I think that is the thing with those car is that getting 300+ is not to hard, but damn only 210 crank hp at mid 3's that is like are civics and it is boosted. I thought that that guy was just fu*king with me, but with the hp that I have compared to the hp that he has I don't know. I think there is no doubt he was trying
